The "No Connection" error message in MT4/5 may appear due to the following reasons:
- Network connection problems.
- Firewall/Anti-virus software issues.
How to identify the source of problem?
Firstly, confirm whether you can access other websites. If there is no problem, follow these steps to test your network connection speed:
- Open MT4/5 platform.
- Click "No Connection" the lower right corner and click "Rescan Servers" (MT4) or "Network Rescan" (MT5) to refresh the server list.
- Check your Ping value (in milliseconds) to confirm the speed of your connection to our servers. Normally ping value of around 100 is considered normal.
If you suspect the issue is related to your firewall or antivirus software, please ensure that you add the MT4 platform to the exclusion list of these programs.
