The Deposit Bonus is provided as a credit bonus that can be used for trading and can help an account withstand trading losses. The credit bonus cannot be converted into cash or withdrawn, but you can withdraw your eligible deposit and trading profits during the promotion period, subject to the applicable bonus adjustment rules.
Example 1: Withdrawing Trading Profit Only
If the withdrawal consists only of trading profit, the full credit bonus is retained.
- Deposit: $2,000
- Profit: $500
- Balance: $2,500
- Credit Bonus: $400
- Withdrawal: $500
After the withdrawal, the $400 credit bonus remains in the account.
Example 2: Withdrawal Exceeds Trading Profit
When the withdrawal amount exceeds the available trading profit, part of the credit bonus is deducted based on the proportion of the withdrawn principal to the total deposit.
- Deposit: $2,000
- Profit: $500
- Balance: $2,500
- Credit Bonus: $400
- Withdrawal: $1,000
The deducted credit bonus is calculated as:
Deducted Credit = {[Total Deposit − (Equity − Credit − Withdrawal Amount)] / Total Deposit} × Credit
Using the example:
Deducted Credit = {[2,000 − (2,900 − 400 − 1,000)] / 2,000} × 400 = $100
After the withdrawal:
Remaining Credit Bonus = $400 − $100 = $300
Example 3: Withdrawal While the Account Is in Loss
If you make a withdrawal while your account has an unrealized or realized loss, the credit bonus is deducted based on the proportion of the withdrawal amount to the remaining balance excluding the credit.
- Deposit: $2,000
- Loss: $200
- Balance: $1,800
- Credit Bonus: $400
- Withdrawal: $500
The deducted credit bonus is calculated as:
Deducted Credit = [Withdrawal Amount / (Equity − Credit)] × Credit
Using the example:
Deducted Credit = [500 / (2,200 − 400)] × 400 = $111.11
After the withdrawal:
Remaining Credit Bonus = $400 − $111.11 = $288.89
Important Conditions
- A withdrawal may result in a proportional deduction of the credit bonus.
- If the margin level would fall below 100% after the withdrawal amount is deducted, the withdrawal request will be rejected.
- The credit bonus provides additional trading capacity but does not protect you from trading losses.
- Positions under Trading on Credit (TOC) do not generate rebates.
