What are the exposure limits for XAUUSD247?
XAUUSD247 has Gross Exposure and Net Exposure limits to manage trading exposure. The limits are calculated on a per MT5 login basis.
Gross Exposure
Gross Exposure is the total combined Long and Short trading volume.
Formula:
Gross Exposure = Long Lots + Short Lots
The maximum Gross Exposure is:
Net Exposure
Net Exposure measures the difference between Long and Short positions.
Formula:
Net Exposure = |Long Lots − Short Lots|

Why is my XAUUSD247 symbols in Close-Only mode?
Your XAUUSD247 MT5 login may enter Close-Only mode when an applicable exposure threshold is reached. This will not affect your ability to open trade on other symbols as this mechanism is only built for XAUUSD247.
In Close-Only mode:
You can close existing positions.
You can reduce your existing exposure.
You cannot open additional positions that increase the relevant exposure.
Normal trading access may resume after the exposure is reduced below the applicable threshold.
Are XAUUSD247 exposure limits calculated per account?
XAUUSD247 exposure limits are calculated on a per MT5 login basis.
If you have:
Long: 2,950 lots
Short: 50 lots
Your:
Gross Exposure = 3,000 lots
Net Exposure = 2,950 lots
If you have:
Long: 3,000 lots
Short: 3,000 lots
Your:
Even though the Net Exposure is 0 lots, the Gross Exposure has reached the 6,000-lot limit.
