If your trading server does not appear in the MT4/MT5 list, add it manually by typing the exact server name into the search field on the login screen. Your server name is shown in the client portal and in the account confirmation email you received when you opened the account.
Prerequisites
You need three details to log in:
All three appear in the client portal and in your account opening email.
Step 1: Find Your Server Name
Log in to the client portal at https://myaccount.ultimamkts.com/login
Go to tab Accounts.
The server name is shown next to the account number.
Note: MT4 accounts only work on MT4 servers, and MT5 accounts only work on MT5 servers.
Step 2: Add the Server on Desktop
Open MT4 or MT5.
Select File → Login to Trade Account.
Type the exact server name in the Server field.
If it does not appear, select File → Open an Account, type the server name into the search box, and select Find your broker.
Select the server from the results.
Return to File → Login to Trade Account, enter your account number and password, then select Login.
Step 3: Add the Server on Mobile
Open the MT4 or MT5 app.
Open the menu, select Manage accounts, then the + icon.
Type the company name.
Select the correct server.
Enter your account number and password, then select Sign In.
If nothing appears, type fewer characters. Searching for the first part of the name returns more results than the full name.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid account" after selecting the server: You may be using an MT4 account number on MT5 or the reverse, or the account and server do not match. Check both in the client portal.
The server list is empty: No internet connection, or a firewall is blocking the platform. Try a different network such as mobile data.
You downloaded MT4/MT5 from a third-party site: Some versions cannot search for servers. Uninstall and download from our website:
Demo and live are different servers: Make sure you selected the one matching your account.
The server was found but couldn't connect: Check your connection. Please see "How to Fix a 'No Connection' Error in MT4/MT5".
