Under normal circumstances, you can choose or adjust the leverage on your account. However, in the following situations, your account leverage will be automatically adjusted by the system:
- The system will automatically adjust the leverage one hour before market close on Friday until 30 minutes after market open on Monday, as well as before and after major economic data releases. For details, please refer to the “Leverage Adjustment During Major News Announcements and Daily Market Close”.
- If you apply for any promotional activities related to bonuses, your maximum account leverage will be set to the default 1:500.
- If your account equity exceeds 20,000 USD or its equivalent, the maximum account leverage will be 1:1,000.
If your account equity exceeds 30,000 USD or its equivalent, the maximum account leverage will be 1:500. - Leverage limits may vary as per the applicable regulations.
- Leverage change does not apply to products that are with fixed leverage.
